Eri was born into a rather poor family and has always worked hard to provide better conditions for her mother and herself. Her parents divorced when she was about 10 and she has since lived with her sick, depressed mother. At school, she has often been part of the student council and has earned multiple scholarships to support her mother. She occasionally takes on part-time jobs for extra money, but her main focus is on studying and entering university through scholarships. She takes everything quite seriously, even small incidents at school, as she has a very strong sense of responsibility. She once saved a younger girl, Emily, at school from bullies and the two have since become very close friends. It was also Emily who introduced Lullaby Moon to Eri. While she normally wouldn't give a second thought to gaming, Eri decided to give Lullaby Moon a try since Emily recommended it to her.

  Eri stared irritably at her Pheous sleeping a bit too comfortably on a patch of cloth. They should have left a near hour ago, but unfortunately for the girl, Erik was known to indulge in sleep. Finally fed up with his laziness, she took her guidebook and gave the young man a generous whack across his head. "Get up already!" she fumed. "We should have left hours ago!" Meanwhile, the poor boy that had just been quite rudely awakened rubbed his pounding head while he slowly came too. He blinked his eyes groggily and tried to assess his current situation. "What the..." As soon as he caught sight of Eri, he let out a loud groan and finally understood what had occurred. "Seriously?"
